I have been constantly searching for a facial scrub that is not harsh on my face, does not leave my face really dry and most of all does not break me out.
Knowing that Human Nature’s products has all natural ingredients and no harmful chemicals, I gave their 100% Natural Purifying Facial scrub a try.
Exfoliate your skin the natural way! Made with real strawberry seeds and fine bamboo granules to soften your skin while gently removing dirt and toxins, our facial scrub allows you to show off your healthy, smooth and luminous complexion without compromising your skin!
Did You Know? Plastic microbeads often found in facial scrubs and other personal care products are becoming an environmental concern. These tiny polyethylene or polypropylene beads are too small to be filtered out by wastewater treatment plants and make their way into our water systems and even the food chain through fish, birds, and mammals who mistake them for fish eggs!* So remember to go easy on the environment – and your face – by using natural, biodegradable scrubs.
I wasn’t expecting that much when I bought the product, but to my surprise, the scrub really smell good and actually I’m in love with it. It’s like I’m addicted to the smell. I’m not entirely sure if it’s the smell of strawberries but for me it smells like a chewing gum.
This is the very first facial scrub that I’ve tried that uses real strawberry seeds (or that uses an all natural ingredient).
Important factor is it has 100% no harmful chemicals so we are sure that we use only pure, safe and natural product on our face where we tend to be very sensitive in the products that we use with it.
The first time I’ve used it I already felt that it soften and smoothen my face and even gave me a radiant glow. Whenever I use it, I just can’t stop, (though I know I have to) it really feels good on my skin. I love scrubbing my nose thoroughly with it (gentle scrubbing of course). It feels creamy so I know that my face is not being scrub too much, just the right amount of exfoliation that I need.
How I use it:
Like any other facial scrub, I only use scrub on my face twice a week, sometimes I even use it only once a week since my face goes from dry to normal skin type. If I felt that my face is really dry, I skip using a scrub and toner, instead just use a peel off mask, (I will be sharing my DIY homemade peel off mask in one of my blog post in the future) and then just continue with a moisturizer and a face serum (I’ve been using my Human Nature 100% Natural Sunflower Beauty Oil as a face serum in a while now – complete review and blogpost here ). I make sure to rinse my face with warm water (to open up the pores and easily remove any blackheads on my face) before using the facial scrub, then rinse it off with cold water to close my pores.
Human Nature released a new packaging of the purifying facial scrub (since my old one is almost empty, I decided to get a new one. I told you I really love it 🙂 )
Here’s the old and new packaging side by side – the only difference is the design.
Where Did I Get Mine:
50g – P104.75
What I Like About It:
- The chewing gum smell (for me!)
- 100% Natural
- No harmful chemicals
- Gentle, safe and effective
- Removes blackheads
- Beads are real strawberry seeds
What I Do Not Like About It:
Only comes in a 50g tube! I hope Human Nature will produce a larger tube. 50g is just not enough. =P
Will I Repurchase?
Definitely Yes! – bought another one already 🙂
Will I Recommend it?
Overall, Human Nature’s 100% Natural Purifying Facial Scrub is gentle, safe and effective (results may vary per individual), it really cleanses and even help remove blackheads (no need to use pore strips). This is the only facial scrub that I use and plans to use in the future (unless I found another scrub that will provide the same effect on my skin plus more affordable).
